I’ve been building a way to keep long-running AI work grounded when conversations multiply, instructions drift, evidence changes, and memory alone is not enough.
The honest origin
A convincing AI answer is not the same thing as a verified operating reality.
Earlier work with Alexa and iNet Atlanta produced ambitious ideas—and some compelling but unreliable factual narratives. Rather than hide that failure, I began engineering around it.
The central question became: how can important work remain traceable, current, and reconstructable across changing conversations, tools, devices, and AI systems without pretending they share perfect memory?
Governed Continuity is the architecture growing from that question. It treats continuity as a relationship among state, evidence, provenance, contradiction, and human authority—not as a bigger pile of remembered text.

The problem in plain English
Context drift occurs when active instructions, assumptions, or retrieved state stop matching the world in which the system is operating. History may still exist. The wrong version can still be active.
That gap is not merely a memory problem. It is a governance problem.
The system
Select a concept to see what it does and what supports it.
Bring relevant prior state back into current work deliberately instead of hoping a new conversation remembers it correctly.
Why it matters: A successor can reconstruct the work from governed evidence rather than invent continuity.
Concrete evidence: Structured continuity capsules and cross-conversation handoffs have been exercised.
Evidence before confidence
A protected operational surface with persistent navigation, protected routes, authenticated dashboard loading, recorded passing tests, and production-build evidence.
A bounded engineering packet was inspected, executed, returned with evidence, and reconciled without David manually carrying it. This does not prove autonomous retained-chat wake.
Provenance validation, tamper detection, restart and recovery, contradiction protection, quarantine behavior, and fixed-fixture recovery testing.
Repository-backed packets, reports, reconstruction seeds, and explicit lifecycle states preserve work across sessions.
Stable worker identities, lanes, evidence pointers, archive and restore, and governed import/export. Not yet production-verified.
The rule, design, or artifact exists.
It reached a running surface.
Its live behavior was actually seen.
Evidence supports the claimed result.

I wanted you to see the honest arc: not an overnight-startup story, but an embarrassing failure mode turned into a disciplined architecture with working mechanisms, visible limits, and a path toward something other people could use.
The next phase
Support is broader than money. The right conversation, skeptical review, introduction, real-world pilot, or technical resource can each move the project forward.
No patent or provisional filing is currently established. Worker First is not production-verified. Full autonomous cross-chat wake and cross-provider live synchronization are not established. Experimental results are not general AI-performance guarantees. Funding paths are plans, not promises. This is not a securities offering.
